Android device owners can now download Final Fantasy 14- Libra Eorzea

Android device owners can now download Final Fantasy 14- Libra Eorzea
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn recently reached a total of 1.5 million registered users, which is quite an accomplishment and that made the game one of the most popular MMOs the company has offered. Final Fantasy 14′s companion app, Final Fantasy 14: Libra Eorzea, was launched for iOS in early September, with an Android version expected to be released “soon.” That “soon” was rather vague, but now it is available.

Android device owners can now download Libra Eorzea. Final Fantasy 14: Libra Eorzea is designed to enhance your experience with the game by being a kind of encyclopedia. It will tell you everything you want to know about the title in question. In addition to all of that knowledge, Libra Eorzea lets users preview their gear and attributes, explore character profiles, item effects and it also has several bestiary entries. Consider it a kind of travel guide to that in game world.
If you’re one of those 1.5 million registered users, you will really get alot from this app and it is worth it to download either the iOS or Android version of Libra Eorzea. It will certainly help you make your way through the game and add some more depth.

Apple turns off iPhone 5S Stock Tracking Website

Apple turns off iPhone 5S Stock Tracking Website
A couple of weeks ago we told you about a website that would check the stock of Apple’s iPhone 5Sin Apple stores, the website was called Apple Tracker, and it looks like Apple has decided to shut the site down. The owner of the site that tracked where the iPhone 5S was available, has posted a message on the site saying that they have received a DMCA request from Apple you can see the message below.
I’ve decided to turn off the site. I’m not doing this because I want to, but rather because I received a DMCA takedown notice (you can see the full text below) from Apple.
I’m not really interested in picking a fight with apple so….. I guess it time to just say good bye.
Before I go though I just wanted to says thanks to all of you for the nice comments and emails that you’ve sent in the last few weeks.
It was fun while it lasted.
The site was quite useful for finding sto9ck of the iPhone 5S, unfortunately you will not be able to use it for the new iPad Mini when it launches later this month.

Google adds for Android 4.4 KitKat new experimental feature called Verified Boot

Google adds for Android 4.4 KitKat new experimental feature called Verified Boot
Latest Android 4.4 KitKat release Google has included a new experimental feature called Verified Boot which has been designed to prevent malicious rootkit software from embedding itself into an Android 4.4 KitKat device. The new feature within the Android 4.4 KitKat software checks the layout of the operating system files to see if they have been tampered or changed in anyway alerting the operating system that a possible malicious rootkit might be in place if the location, layout or sizes of files within Android 4.4 KitKat have been changed.
Google has designed the new feature detect changes using a new dm-verity feature that scans the individual blocks of data on the Android file system with hashes to check that the data hasn’t been modified. Unfortunately though modders and custom ROM developers used similar techniques used by malicious rootkits to install tweaks and enhancements to the Android OS and devices. Which in the future may cause a problem if the latest security feature Google has added to the Android operating system reports their work as malicious code.
To know more information on the new Google Android KitKat security feature jump over to an in-depth article which has been written by Pulser_G2 over on the XDA Developers forum entitled : Google Taking Aim at Device Modders in Android 4.4 KitKat. As more information is released by Google regards the implementation of their new Android KitKat security feature we will keep you updated.

Call of Duty: Ghosts collects $1 billion in sales in first day

Call of Duty: Ghosts collects $1 billion in sales in first day
Call of Duty: Ghosts has achieved $1 billion in sales in its first day, which is nice, but the game has it’s share of bugs. The PlayStation 4 version apparently suffers from frame rate issues. However, that isn’t all. It is looking like the developer has been very sloppy with this title. It looks like Infinity Ward cut some corners in fact.

YouTube user satantribal noticed that the developer has reused motion capture data from the ending of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and stuck it in Call of Duty: Ghosts. You can see from the comparison video above, that there’s no doubt Infinity Ward reused motion capture data from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Considering the prices of new games, you would expect all new footage and it just looks like they were being lazy. Then again, who knows? Maybe something got messed up and they had to do this.

Sony plans to charge a monthly fee for multiplayer games on PS 4

Sony plans to charge a monthly fee for multiplayer games on PS 4
One of the things many of us loved about the PlayStation 3 compared to the Xbox 360 is that we didn’t have to pay a monthly fee to play multiplayer games with the PlayStation 3. On the Xbox 360, you have to pay a monthly fee for online play. Well, those days are over. A lot of people may not know it, but it looks like Sony plans to charge a monthly fee for multiplayer games on the PlayStation 4.

It hasn’t really been noticed by Sony fans, but back in May of 2013, Sony said that the PlayStation 4 would be more profitable than the PlayStation 3. I guess this is why. Charging players to access multiplayer games will certainly help with profit. It looks like Sony will charge $9.99 monthly in the US and 6.99 euros in Europe.
In Japan Sony will charge 500 yen, or about $5 per month. Gamers will also be able to purchase a yearly membership, 12 months of access for $49.99. The yearly subscription saves some money. Aside from multiplayer, there will be other features that gamers get, like so many free games per month and special timed trials to name a few. It sucks, but it is worth it since you get a lot for your money.
