Google's Nexus 5 battery images appeared

Google's Nexus 5 battery images appeared

There’s no denying that the launch date of the purported Google Nexus 5 is near. The rumor mill continue to leak information,  whether it is correct or not , about the purported handset until it’s made official by Google. There’s a lot of speculation going on about the battery capacity of the alleged Nexus 5.
Some even said that the 16GB model will feature 2,300 mAh battery while the 32GB variant will come with a 3,000 mAh, this is something debatable and if you ask me, I’d say its incorrect and Nexus 5 will come with just a 2,300 mAh battery as leaked in the service manual few weeks back.
Anyway, some people claim that they managed to get their hand on the 2,300 mAh battery for Nexus 5 as shown below. The images appeared from FanaticFone, who claims that this is the battery that will come with the purported Nexus 5.
However, the folks didn’t mention how they got hold of it, so let’s just take this rumor with a pinch of salt. The handset is rumored to feature a 4.95-inch full HD display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC with a clock speed of 2.3GHz, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, 8MP camera with optical image stabilization and will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. There are several rumors circulating all over the internet about the launch date.
Earlier rumors predicted that it will launch on October 14th, which came and gone, while the new ones are pointing to 31st October. The handset also made a short appearance on Google Play Store, so we can stay calm as the launch might be near.

Unfortunately, the retailer didn’t mention any exact shipping date, but it should hit the shelves early 2014. 'iPad Mini with Retina' supply for that product is severely constrained - Rhoda Alexander

'iPad Mini with Retina' supply for that product is severely constrained - Rhoda Alexander
The new iPad Mini with Retina display will be short in supply, especially at launch, according to a few analysts. It’s nothing new as the news started pouring in before the tablet made an official appearance.
An analyst also predicted that the demand for iPad Mini with Retina will be higher compared to the new 9.7-inch model, which could be correct. Now, the director of Tablet and Monitor Research at IHS iSuppli Rhoda Alexander mentions that the supply of the much-awaited iPad Mini with Retina display will be severely constrained, and it could be hard to find an iPad Mini if the demand is high.
The similar case happened with the iPhone 5S at launch, and it’s still hard to find especially the gold color with online Apple Store still shows a shipment date of 2-3 weeks for iPhone 5S.
‘The supply for that product is severely constrained. We don’t expect to see meaningful volume until first quarter [of 2014],” said Rhoda Alexander, director of Tablet and Monitor Research at IHS iSuppli.
The Retina iPad Mini page on Apple’s websites shows the launch of the tablet as “Coming Later in November” with no exact release date. And, even after the launch in November, the supply will still be limited and will come to normal early 2014.
This is because of the high-resolution retina panels, which are hard to make for the 7.9-inch model. This also increases the pixel density of the iPad Mini to 326ppi, cmpared to 264 ppi in the iPad Air. There’s no official statement from Apple about this issue. We’ll update you if we get more information. Let’s just hope that the tablet comes in decent supply, and not something like iPhone 5S.

LG G2 stolen in truck containing 22,500 brand new devices
CNET reports thats A truck containing 22,500 brand new LG G2 was stolen in Indiana, when it was on its way to Louisville, Kentucky and the handsets were on their way to Sprint stores as the carrier is expected to launch LG’s flagship device next month. At around 6:30pm on Thursday, the driver stopped at a truck stop in Gary, Indiana, for a quick bathroom break and when he came back, his truck was missing. At the unsubsidized price of the handset, it adds up to over $14 million worth of smartphones. The thief must be having the time of his life with one of the best Android smartphone, and that too, in large quantities.

Indiana and Illinois state police as well as the FBI have been contacted for investigation, but the truck is not found as of now. If you come across anyone selling you a cheap Sprint LG G2, just take a deep breath and have a detailed look at the handset before paying. Let’s hope the authorities can catch the theives as soon as possible.

Skylanders Swap Force Wii U bundle expect to launch on Nov 15 for $299.99

Skylanders Swap Force Wii U bundle expect to launch on Nov 15 for $299.99
Nintendo has a few Wii U bundles lined up for this holiday season. One of them is this season’s hottest kids title, Skylanders Swap Force. The Skylanders Swap Force bundle will include a Wii U Basic set, meaning that the console will come in white and will only have 8GB of internal storage. Skylanders fans will be all over this bundle.

The bundle comes with a Skylanders Swap Force starter pack that includes the game, a Portal of Power and three Skylanders figures. There is also a collector poster, trading cards, sticker sheets and a copy of Nintendo Land. You can expect the Skylanders Swap Force Wii U bundle will launch on November 15 for $299.99.
This is a great deal if you are a Skylanders fan and also want a Wii U, but haven’t bought one yet. It is the perfect holiday gift for yourself or someone else. Skylanders Swap Force allows you to use all of your previously collected Skylanders figures too, so this is great for those who already have some as well. Kids go crazy for Skylanders, so you can’t go wrong with this bundle. It is probably one of the best things the Wii has going for it.
