Audio company Westone has announced a new W-series earphone line. The W-series are aimed at music fans who want some different features in their earphones. The W-series includes the 10, 20, 30, and 40. All have a proprietary balanced armature driver and advance crossover design. But that isn’t the most interesting feature.

The earphones use the company’s replaceable EPIC cable allowing users to easily replace the cable when broken or customize the cable to match their device. One of the available cables is an Apple MFi unit with a three-button control and integrated microphone for use with the iPhone. This series is also compatible with Westone’s ADV active cable and the UM Pro cable.

Now if your dog chews on it, it isn’t the end. Plus, it will match your device. The headphones will be available on October 15. The W10 is $199.99, the W20 is $299.99, the W30 is $399.99, and the W40 is $499.99.

Nokia posted a teaser for its Innovation Reinvented event

Nokia posted a teaser for its Innovation Reinvented event, which specifies that the event is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi. Up until now, the rumor mill suggested that Nokia will unveil Lumia 1520 and Nokia Windows RT tablet known as Lumia 2520 at the event next month. Now, a new rumor suggests that the Finnish OEM will launch six new devices at the October 22nd event.

The Verge reports, citing sources familiar with Nokia’s roadmap, that Nokia will launch six new devices next month, including two Lumia devices and a whole new range of accessories. However, the spotlight should be on Nokia Lumia 1520 as it’s expected to be the first Windows Phone 8 phablet that comes with a quad-core processor and 1080p display.

According to The Verge,

Nokia’s Innovation Reinvented event in Abu Dhabi next month will host the launch of at least six new devices from the Finnish company, including at least two new Lumias. This information comes from sources familiar with Nokia’s roadmap, who also tell The Verge that there’ll be a range of new accessories, and that one of them will be “pretty special.”

We’re wildly guessing that the second Lumia device will be the Windows RT tablet. There is no news about the remaining four devices that are expected to see the daylight on October 22nd, but the rumors should start pouring in very soon. Stay tuned, we’ll update you if anything pops up.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX in 7-inch and 8.9-inch

Amazon’s Kindle Fire HDX, this is aster and lighter than the previous generation.  Kindle Fire HDX will be released in 7-inch and an 8.9-inch variants. Company says  Kindle Fire HDX 7 price will be $229, for the 16GB variant (Wi-Fi only), also comes with 32GB / 64GB storage, Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 starts at $379 for the 16GB model (Wi-Fi only).  These two tablets are available in LTE versions with an extra $100 for the models.

The Kindle Fire HDX 7 tablet is scheduled to ship in mid-October, 8.9-inch model will be shipping a few weeks later. Both tabs are available on Amazon, though not in India.
