New Nvidia “Console Mode” created users to allow many features

New Nvidia “Console Mode” created users to allow many features
Owners of the new $299 Nvidia Shield handheld games console might be pleased to learn that this week the company has rolled out a new update for the device which brings with it a new “Console Mode” that has been created to allow users to map buttons from touchscreen Android games to the physical controllers of the Nvidia console. In the past it’s been a little tricky to play Android touchscreen games on the Nvidia portable gaming system without the new support for button mapping.
The new Nvidia Shield Console Mode within the system also supports Nvidia’s new Game Stream service that allows you to play games in a different room using your Shield and HDTV to stream games from a PC equipped with an Nvidia graphics card that can be in a different room all together but connected to your home wireless network.
The new Nvidia Shield Console Mode which has been added in the update also enables owners to now connect the Shield console to a HDTV with an HDMI cable and pair a second physical Bluetooth controller to the handheld console, so that you don’t need to hold the Shield in your hands while playing. The new Shield update released by Nvidia also brings with it Google’s latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system and the ability to now move APK and OBB files to an SD card when additional storage is required on the Nvidia Shield console.

Video of PlayStation application launching on Android Devices

Video of PlayStation application launching on Android Devices
New PlayStation application will be rolling out for Sony’s PS Vita games console in the next update and following up on this news it’s now been announced that the new PlayStation application will also be arriving on Android smartphones and tablets in the middle of November 2013. When the new Playstation App was first unveiled earlier this year is was shown enabling gamers to start a game on their PlayStation 4 console and then continue playing on a smartphone or tablet whilst out and about.
The new PlayStation application feature is called Remote Play but it has not been yet confirmed by Sony as to whether this amazing new feature will be included within the first PlayStation application release. Or whether it is planned to be added at a later date. The PlayStation application which was recently shown at the Tokyo Games Show was definitely a watered-down version of what was originally shown with a number of the more exciting features being left out.
The new PlayStation application for Android will be rolling out on both Android and iOS devices and it will be interesting to see exactly what Sony will be is including in its Playstation App when it’s next-generation PlayStation 4 console launches next month. The new next generation PlayStation 4 console will be launching on November 15th 2013 in the US and slightly later throughout Europe on November 29th 2013.

Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch gadget gets 30 percent at Best Buy

Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch gadget gets 30 percent at Best Buy
Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch has a return rate as high as 30 percent at Best Buy, at least according to a leaked internal document from Best Buy. The document is asking for opinions from on-site Samsung staff as to why customers may be returning the device and also gives exact dates for when Gear compatibility will expand to other Samsung devices
The document says that “The Galaxy Gear attachment rate within Best Buy is the highest among all channels, however the overall return rate is trending above 30%.” The memo was for Samsung employees working in the company’s Samsung Experience Stores
You know, those micro-stores within Best Buy stores. The document also asks employees to give their thoughts on why customers are returning the smartwatch. Aside from that, the document also gives dates for when Samsung’s Note II, S III, S4, and S4 Active smartphones will be receiving the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update that will make them compatible with the Galaxy Gear. This update will begin rolling out to customers on October 28, until December 2. Why do you think customers are returning the device? That does seem a high number, and I expect many think it can do more than it actually is capable of, so they get disappointed.

Nexus 5 is expected to have a 4.95-inch 1080p coming on Nov 1st

Nexus 5 is expected to have a 4.95-inch 1080p coming on Nov 1st
Google still hasn’t announced its much awaited Nexus sequel, which will most likely take the title of Nexus 5, but @evleaks has acquired pictures of a Nexus 5 with a black front and white back and posted them saying “In white. 11/1”. The release date would be rather sudden, but it’s not exactly a huge leap of the imagination. Right now the Nexus 5 is expected to have a 4.95-inch 1080p with Snapdragon 800 and a starting price of $349
Keep in mind nothing’s official yet, but you can at least expect to hear something from Google in the coming weeks, if not days. A friend of mine absolutely loves his Nexus 4 and is ready to buy a Nexus 5 no matter what it’s priced at whenever it comes out. It still amazes me that the phone costs so little while still being one of the most up-to-date technological smartphones out there.
It’s also sure to be updated without delay whenever Android receives an update, making it one of the best supported phones on the market. I’m getting Moto X now that the price has dropped like the rumors said it would, but if I wasn’t with AT&T or planned to switch I’d probably wait for the Nexus 5.
