Google’s new Technology to kill the cookie by AdID

Google’s new Technology to kill the cookie by AdID
Google thinks that we won’t need cookies in the near future. In fact, Google’s latest attempt to kill the cookie is in the form of AdID, which is an anonymous identifier that could be used for advertising in the future.

According to USA Today, Google is working on an “anonymous identifier for advertising”, or AdID for short, which might mean the end of third-party cookies being the method for advertisers keeping track of Internet browsing activity when it comes to marketing and ads.

This one might actually be good for consumers since it shields your real identity. Sound too good to be true? It probably is, but we won’t know until Google actually shows us what they come up with. Sounds good so far though.

Nvidia officially announced Tegra Note Powered by Tegra 4

Nvidia officially announced Tegra Note Powered by Tegra 4
Nvidia has now officially announced that tablet and noted that it will start a retail price of $199. Nvidia won’t be bringing the tablet market itself, rather it be working with its hardware partners including EVGA and PNY in the US.

The tablet uses a Tegra 4 chipset featuring a 72-core GPU in a quad-core Cortex A15 CPU. The tablet features a seven-inch HD resolution IPS LCD display. The native resolution of the tablet is 1280 x 800. The Tegra Note also has a five-megapixel rear camera along with a VGA resolution front camera. Internal storage is 16 GB with a microSD card slot for storage expansion with up to an additional 32 GB.

The tablet also features front facing HD audio stereo speakers and a special stylus with chisel and brush tips for natural writing or broad strokes. The tablet promises 10 hours of battery life with HD video playback. There’s no indication just yet of when the tablet will be available to purchase. The tablet uses Android for the operating system.

Here’s a rundown on some of the Tegra Note’s unique features:
  • Ultra-fast performance — Powered by Tegra 4 with a 72-core GeForce GPU and quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU with a fifth battery-saver core, making Tegra Note the world’s fastest 7-inch tablet.
  • Superb stylus — NVIDIA DirectStylus technology transforms a normal stylus into an incredibly responsive experience with finer point and broader stroke control. It also comes bundled with apps for convenient, stroke-based note taking.
  • Exceptional sound — NVIDIA PureAudio technology offers rich, deep audio — including the widest frequency range in a tablet — through front-facing stereo speakers with a bass-reflex port.
  • Groundbreaking camera — The camera uses Tegra 4’s processing power and Chimera computational photography architecture to deliver stunning new features. Tegra Note also brings SmugMug’s Camera Awesome app — one of the top camera apps on iOS — to Android. Camera Awesome delivers exclusive Tegra 4 features like tap-to-track and 100 fps video with slow-motion playback.
  • TegraZone gaming — Delivering unmatched gaming, NVIDIA TegraZone provides easy access to Tegra-optimized games with visual effects that aren’t available on other tablets. Tegra Note also supports a variety of game controllers for console-class gaming.
  • Great battery life — 10-plus hours of HD video playback.
  • Accessories galore — An intelligent slide cover flips and bends to support and cover the tablet. It also lets the tablet be set up in three distinct positions using built-in magnets for added flexibility. The DirectStylus Pro Pack enables a variety of writing styles with interchangeable tips. And Bluetooth capabilities turn the tablet into a game controller.

BlackBerry has launched the Z30, a 5-inch smartphone, the first one to sport the new version of BlackBerry OS, 10.2.

With fabulous features on board are a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor with a quad-core Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, stereo sound, a new-generation antenna that "dynamically tunes reception to give you better connectivity in low signal areas" and a 2880mAh battery.

BlackBerry Z30 will become available with select carriers and retailers around the world beginning next week in the UK and Middle East. All other regions can expect to see the device in the holiday season. Pricing announcements have been left to individual carriers and retailers.
