Filip smartwatch first smart locator for children

Filip smartwatch first smart locator for children
If you need to keep a track on your Children, a new device called the Filip smartwatch, which has been specifically designed for parents to be able to track and communicate with their children via their smartphone, while the child is allowed to roam away from home.
The new Filip smartwatch will be launching in AT&T stores as soon as possible and is marketing itself as the very first smart locator and phone for children, however at the moment no prices for the device are available.

The new Filip smartwatch and companion smartphone application allows you to set a safe zone which is a virtual radius around an area that you wish your children to play in. And if your child leaves the allocated safe zone a push notification is automatically sent to the parents smartphone. By alerting them that the child is playing in an area that they shouldn’t be, the notifications can be sent to 5 pre-designated numbers if required. Parents who are also able to send short messages to the watch to alert their children using messages, the process is a one-way system which doesn’t allow the child to message back.
To know more information on the new Filip smartwatch jump over to the official Filip website for full details and specifications.

Apple planned to announced their fourth quarter earnings

Apple planned to announced their fourth quarter earnings
Apple has announced that they will release their fourth quarter earnings report on the October 28th, this will cover their fiscal fourth quarter for 2013.
The fourth quarter earnings report will be announced via conference call which will take place at 2.00 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET on the October 28th.
Apple recently announced that they managed to sell 9 million iPhone’s on their launch weekend, the figure included the sales of the new Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Apple did not release a breakdown of how many of each device they sold, and hopefully we will get some information on sales of both devices at the earnings call.
Also we can expect to find out more information on sales of Apple’s other devices, including the iPad and their range of Mac’s, plus hopefully some information on Apple iOS 7 adoption.
It will be interesting to know how sales of the iPhone have increased Apple’s profits, in 2012 they sold 5 million iPhones on their launch weekend, so selling 9 million this year should make a significant difference to their profits, assuming the strong sales and repeats again.
