New online tool service called 'Google Constitute'

New online tool service called 'Google Constitute'
Today Google has released a new service called Google Constitute which has been created to make the worlds constitutions easier to find and search.
The new Google Constitute service is supported the Comparative Constitutions Project and the new site digitises and makes searchable the world’s constitutions.Google Constitute enables people to browse and search constitutions via curated and tagged topics, as well as by country and year. Google explains:
“The Comparative Constitutions Project cataloged and tagged nearly 350 themes, so people can easily find and compare specific constitutional material. This ranges from the fairly general, such as “Citizenship” and “Foreign Policy,” to the very specific, such as “Suffrage and turnouts” and “Judicial Autonomy and Power.
Our aim is to arm drafters with a better tool for constitution design and writing. We also hope citizens will use Constitute to learn more about their own constitutions, and those of countries around the world.”

New Microsoft SkyDrive package offers 200GB of storage for just $100 a year

New Microsoft SkyDrive package offers 200GB of storage for just $100 a year
New Microsoft Surface 2 tablets, Microsoft has also this week announced a new upgrade package for their SkyDrive cloud storage service.
The new Microsoft SkyDrive package offers 200GB of storage for just $100 a year and is slightly cheaper than Google’s offering of 200GB for $120 per year. While Dropbox offers 100GB of cloud storage for $99 a year.
Users who buy a new Microsoft Surface 2 or Surface 2 Pro tablet announced this week will automatically receive 200GB of SkyDrive storage free for two years. The SkyDrive cloud storage service is also an integral part of the latest Microsoft Windows 8.1 operating system set to roll out to Windows 8 users as a free upgrade next month. Tech Crunch explains a little more:
“SkyDrive is deeply integrated into Windows 8.1 and can cache regularly used files and folders on the local machine and store the rest in the cloud. For most files, Windows 8.1 creates placeholder files in the local file system to make even SkyDrive folders and files feel like they are right on your desktop. You can move, delete, copy and rename them, but they are only downloaded when you access them. This means you could have 200GB of files in the cloud and still access all of them easily from your 32GB Surface 2.”

BlackBerry has agreed to a $4.7 billion sale

BlackBerry has agreed to a $4.7 billion sale
BlackBerry Gets Offer To Go Private For $4.7 Billion, BlackBerry has agreed to a $4.7 billion sale to a group led by its largest shareholder, Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd., after new smartphones failed to turn the company around.
BlackBerry Ltd. said Monday that a letter of intent has been signed and that its shareholders will receive $9 in cash for each share. The deal comes just days after the Canadian company announced plans to lay off 40 percent of its global workforce.
The BlackBerry, pioneered in 1999, was once the dominant smartphone for on-the-go business people and other consumers. It could be so addictive that it was nicknamed "the CrackBerry." President Barack Obama couldn't bear to part with his BlackBerry. Oprah Winfrey declared it one of her "favorite things."
