"Codename ORBIS: PlayStation 4 gets a working title and other rumours"


ORBIS.
This is the code name reportedly being given to the fourth incarnation of the PlayStation console (PS4), tipped to be released during the US “holiday season” next year.

The console reportedly contains better graphics and a resolution better than most high-definition TV sets, with users able to play 3D games in full HD.

"Bloggers lose in US HuffPo payment suit"



A US federal judge in New York says that the Huffington Post and its parent company, AOL, don't have to pay bloggers who provide content for the website.


US District Judge John Koeltl dismissed a lawsuit that bloggers filed last year, saying they were unjustly denied compensation for their work.

"Massive" Credit Card Breach of Estimated 10 Million Accounts: Where Are Those Smart Cards?

Brian Krebs reported yesterday in his Krebs on Security blog that there has been a security breach at Global Payments that “may involve more than 10 million compromised card numbers.” In terms of allaying consumer concerns about mobile and internet commerce, this is not the kind of headline the industry needs.

According to CNN/Money, “Global Payments (GPN) processed $167.3 billion worth of transactions in its last fiscal year, which ended May 31, 2011. Global Payments specializing in serving small merchants, like mom-and-pop businesses and local retailers.”
