Most Scary Computer Viruses in tech world

Most Scary Computer Viruses in tech world
Here the top 5 most scary computer viruses in the tech world, below see the top 5 viruses as follow:
1. I Love You
The 2000 “I Love You” virus as the designation of being the first widespread computer virus, even though it came a full 18 years later after the first true computer virus, 1982′s Elk Cloner. This was the virus that taught us all not to click on untrustworthy-looking attachments. “I Love You” was a simple virus: it included an email with the text “I love you” and a mysterious attachment, and when you clicked the attachment it overwrote your image files and sent itself to the first 50 contacts in your address book. Some love letter, indeed.
2. Code Red
The “I Love You” virus primarily targeted personal computing. Not so with Code Red, which launched in 2001 and immediately took down corporate and government websites, including Whitehouse.gov. After Code Red, businesses started getting serious about using enterprise-level antivirus software, and viruses had to get more and more sophisticated to sneak around the protective systems.
3. The Conficker Worm
Dubbed the “super worm,” the Conficker virus showed up in November 2009 and quickly spread from computer to computer via weak passwords, security breaches, and infected USB drives. As the virus spread, messages went around advertising that Conficker would “activate” on April Fools’ Day, 2010. Well, April 1 came and went, and although thousands of computers are still infected with the Conficker virus, the virus itself has not directly harmed any systems. As The Register put it: “Conficker lies dormant… for now.”
4. Zeus
Ever wonder about the true security of those “secure questions” you answer to log into your bank or access important sites? After all, anyone with a Facebook account could figure out the model of the first car you drove or your paternal grandfather’s first name. The 2007 Zeus virus didn’t even bother searching Facebook; instead, it scraped your personal information, including the answers to your supposedly secure questions, and sold them online for identity thieves to exploit. If you experienced any credit card fraud or identity theft on or around 2007, the Zeus virus may have been involved.
5. Stuxnet
In 2010, everyone interested in international relations was talking about Stuxnet, the computer virus responsible for literally causing Iranian uranium centrifuges to shut down. To quote ABC News: “Stuxnet was designed to infiltrate the computer system at an Iranian nuclear facility, physically damage the facility’s infrastructure by throwing off automated systems and cover its tracks so that even if engineers were monitoring those systems, everything would appear normal.”
That ABC News article has one more interesting piece of information: according to whistleblower Edward Snowden, Stuxnet was a collaboration between the US National Security Agency and Israel. Whether this is true is yet to be seen, but if it’s true, Stuxnet could go down in history not only as one of the first computer viruses to physically damage factory machinery, but also as one of the first successful covert cyber attacks.

Nokia Lumia 526 passed TENAA certification

Nokia Lumia 526 passed TENAA certification
Nokia Lumia 525 turned up at TENAA, a Chinese equivalent of the FCC. The handset , codenamed Glee, is expected to be the successor of the popular Nokia Lumia 520, which has been named as the best Windows Phone device. Shortly after this, Nokia Lumia 526 also passed TENAA certification, which is expected to be the Chinese variant of the Lumia 525 for China Mobile’s “TD-SCDMA” network.
Interestingly, the handset will feature similar specifications as Nokia Lumia 525, as leaked before, and is expected to come with a 4 inch WVGA display sporting a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The purported handset is rumored to feature a dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with a clock speed of 1GHz, 1GB RAM, 8GB memory with a microSD card slot, 5MP camera and will run Windows Phone 8 out of the box.
Rumors suggest that Nokia is expected to hold another major event by the end of November or early December where the Finns will unveil several devices such as the Nokia Lumia 525 and other handsets, as well as a few smartphone accessories.
There’s no confirmation from Nokia about any event, but we’ll be on our toes and will update our readers as soon as there’s any information.

World’s Most Valuable Brand Award wins Apple 3 times in a row

World’s Most Valuable Brand Award wins Apple 3 times in a row
Things are going in the right direction for the Cupertino-based company. A few months back, Apple managed to end the 13-year long reign of Coca Cola to become Interbrand’s most valuable brand, followed by the likes of Google Microsoft, IBM, etc. Now, the folks at Forbes released their list of most valuable brand list. Surprisingly, Apple managed to gain the top spot the third time in a row with an estimated brand value of $104.3 billion.
The Cupertino company is followed by Microsoft, Coca-Cola, IBM and Google as the top five contenders in the list. The companies on the second and third number are way below Apple in terms of the brand value, despite the fact they spent millions in advertising and marketing campaigns, which are way more than what Apple has spent on advertising.
The most interesting company in the list appears to be Samsung who’s sitting on the ninth spot in the World’s Most Valuable brand, which managed to improve its ranking by  53 percent compared to last year, and a whopping 130 percent if you take the past three years in to account. The Korean OEM spent a whipping $4.4 billion on advertising with a brand value of just $29.5 billion and a brand revenue of a whopping $181 billion. The way they’re growing, they may claim a spot in the top 5 in the next few years.

Blackberry limited edition Z10 comes arrived with a shiny new red color

Blackberry limited edition Z10 comes arrived with a shiny new red color
Things are definitely changing at Blackberry. With the appointment of a new CEO, things might head to a new direction for the Canadian manufacturer, at least we hope so. Anyway, if you remember, the Canadian OEM asked developers earlier this year to submit their applications in the Blackberry AppWorld. The company held many events, approaching various developers to create apps for their OS, may be to reach the 100,000 apps milestone. Surprisingly, they did reach their goal in May 2013.
If you were one of the first 250 developers who submitted an app in the Blackberry App World and got it approved, you’d be happy to know that Blackberry is sending out emails to those developers informing them that they will receive a new limited edition Blackberry Z10 with a fresh coat of paint
The limited edition Z10 comes with a shiny new red color paint job. Before you get excited, there’s no difference in the specifications of the handset, it still features the same hardware as its normal version. Additionally, due to shipping restrictions, developers in many countries will not be able to get the shiny red Blackberry Z10. The list includes Belarus, China, Cuba, Indonesia, Iran, North Korea, Malaysia, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Nokia Lumia 1520 available in gorgeous colors with

Nokia Lumia 1520 available in gorgeous colors with 32 GB of internal memory
Nokia unveiled their flagship Lumia 1520 phablet last month at a press event in Abu Dhabi. It was announced to launch exclusively on AT&T in the U.S and will be available with 16GB storage option. This came as a disappointing news for many Windows Phone fans, but Nokia has some good news for potential Nokia Lumia 1520 buyers.
Nokia mentioned on Nokia Conversations Blog that the 32GB variant for AT&T will be available in the near future, but failed to give an exact launch date. We’re guessing it will be available by the time it hits the global market.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 will be available in a variety of gorgeous colors including matte black, matte yellow, matte white or glossy red.  An expanded memory version of the Lumia 1520, with 32 GB of internal memory, will be offered at AT&T in the near future.
Nokia Lumia 1520 comes with a gigantic 6-inch display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 800  processor with a clock speed of 2.2GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (for the AT&T version) with a microSD card slot, 20MP camera with PureView technology and runs Windows Phone 8 out of the box. The handset is available for pre-orders for $199.99 with a two-year agreement and will hit the shelves on November 22nd.
