Blackberry announced voice calling capabilities along with BBM Channels for Android and iOS

Blackberry announced voice calling capabilities along with BBM Channels for Android and iOS
Last week Blackberry announced BBM for Android and iOS. The application managed to reach the 10 million downloads milestone in just 24 hours after launch. Recently, Blackberry also announced that the service is being used by over 20 million iPhone and Android users, which increases the total number of active users using the application (including Blackberry) to a whopping 80 million.
If you’re one of those millions using Android, you’d be happy to know that BBM for Android comes with a homescreen widget as well, which provides users with quick access to the application. Now, you don’t have to open the application every time you want to send a message to one of your contacts.
The widget shows all the recent BBM chats, but users can tap at the bottom of the widget to open the application. If you don’t know how to add widgets, just long press on your home screen and select the BBM widget from the widgets option.
There are many cross-platform messaging services so the folks at BBM have to work hard and make sure they release more exciting features that are better than the competition. Recently, Blackberry announced that BBM for Android and iOS will come with video and voice calling capabilities along with BBM Channels.

Google Nexus 5 16GB Sprint version for $149.99 with 2years contract

Google Nexus 5 16GB Sprint version for $149.99 with 2years contract
Google unveiled the long-rumored Google Nexus 5 with a price tag of $349 for the 16GB model. However, if you’re planning to get the handset from Best Buy, you will definitely prefer to wait for 3-4 weeks as the retailer is offering the Sprint Google Nexus 5 for a whopping $799.99 off-contract, and that’s for the 16GB model.
Google Nexus 5 16GB Sprint version for $149.99 with 2years contract
Yes, it’s not a mistake, Best Buy is offering Google Nexus 5 16GB Sprint version for $149.99 with a two-year agreement or $799.99 outright, more than double the price offered on the Google Play Store and even $350 higher than the official Sprint listing. The handset is even listed at 449.99 on the Sprint website, so paying $799.99 on Best Buy is completely insane. Best Buy normally charge high for a replacement phone, but a price that high is simply not reasonable. There’s a possibility that it could be an error of some sort, but it’s unlikely. We’ll find out soon enough if it’s an error or whether the retailer is really offering the handset for that amount.
The handset features a 4.95-inch display with 1080p resolution, 2GB RAM and it’s powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset with a clock speed of 2.2GHz with Adreno 330 GPU. Other specifications include 16/32GB storage, 8MP camera with OIS, 2,300 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat on top of it.
