Telefonica Teams Up With Microsoft On Windows Phone 8

Windows Phone 8Telefonica has announced that they have partnered with Microsoft to promote Windows Phone 8. The company will be promoting Windows Phone 8 devices in the UK, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Brazil and Mexico.

Microsoft and Telefonica are looking to promote Windows Phone 8 devices over other platform’s like Apple’s iOS platform and Google’s Android platform which are currently dominating the market.
Telefonica has said that it is ‘firmly committed’ to encouraging new mobile operating platforms, and that they will be working with the top Windows Phone 8 manufacturers.
As yet it is not clear how much the company will spend to promote Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 platform, and whether this will help Microsoft make their platform more popular.
