Hyrel 3D Printer Can Print Using Play-doh, Air-drying Clay And Sugru (video)

There are plenty of 3D printers now available to create objects in a variety of different plastics, but the Hyrel 3D Printer which was funded via Kickstarter is also capable of printing using Play-doh, Air-drying Clay And Sugru.

The new Hyrel 3D Printer is preparing to ship this week after raising more than $150,000 on Kickstarter and has been designed by Daniel Hutchison.

The Hyrel 3D Printer is fitted with a unique nozzle called the HYREL Emulsifiable Extruder (EMO-25) that lets it control the unusual printing materials and clay can be pushed back into the cartridge and squirted out again if required keeping waste to a minimum.
