We have been hearing more an more rumors about Apple’s new iPad Mini over the last few weeks, Apple is expected to send out invitations to their iPad mini event next week on the 10th of October and the event is expected to take place on the 17th of October.

Yesterday we heard that AU Optronics will be supplying Apple with the displays for their new 7.85 inch iPad Mini, and now according to a recent report the company is expected to ship 4 million displays for the iPad Mini to Apple in quarter four.
According to Digitimes, Apple is expected to ship between 9 and 10 million iPad Mini’s in quarter four, Au Optronics will apparently be supplying around 4 million displays for the new iPad and LG Display are rumored to be supplying the remaining 5 to 6 million displays.
