Modbook Pro Mac Based Tablet Now Available To Pre-order For $3,500 | TechDigg.info
Following on from last week unveiling of their new Modbook Pro pen tablet system now equipped with solid state disk (SSD) options, Modbook Inc. has today announced that the new MacBook Pro based tablet is now available to pre-order.

As you would expect with a tablet constructed from the inner workings of a MacBook Pro 13.3. inch notebook, the new touchscreen Modbook Pro  is priced at a lofty $3,499, and will be shipping in November 2012.

The new Modbook Pro is powered by an Intel CoreTM i7 processor up to 2.9GHz, supported by up to 16GB of onboard memory. Together with a 480GB solid state disk (SSD). Andreas E. Haas, chief executive officer and chief technology officer of Modbook Inc. explained in the press release today:

“We’re excited that customers will finally get the chance to configure and purchase their Modbook Pro. Each Modbook Pro is custom built to its owner’s requirements, and we’re confident the time and effort dedicated to the custom build will result in a fun and productive product for customers,”
