Toshiba Canvio Slim Portable HDD Announced

Toshiba has announced the launch of their latest portable hard drive, the Toshiba Canvio, which is designed to be light, slim and ultra portable, and it comes with 500GB of built in storage.

The Toshiba Canvio measures just 9mm thick and and comes with USB 3.0 and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0, it will work with both PCs and Macs.

The 500GB Toshiba Canvio portable hard drive comes with Toshiba’s Backup Now EZ software, which will also let you backup your data to the cloud, it will go on sale in October for $114.99.
