LG Optimus G With Quad Core Krait Processor Gets Official

LG has announced their latest Android smartphone, the LG Optimus G which comes with a quad core 1.5GHz Krait Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, and 2GB of RAM.

The LG Optimus G comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and it features 2G, 3G and 4G LTE, the handset also comes with a 4 inch True HD IPSPlus touchscreen display.

The 4.7 inch HD display on the LG Optimus G features a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels and the device also come with two cameras, on the back there is a 13 megapixel camera for photos and video, up front there is a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat.

Other specifications on the LG Optimus G include a 2,100 mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, USB 2.0, A-GPS, MHL and DLNA, plus NFC, the device will go on sale in Korea next week and will launch in other global markets next month, there are no details on pricing as yet.
