Fans of SiriusXM on Android have been wondering when they would get the newfound ability to tune in beyond live radio. With Sirius XM’s version 2.2 update, you have your wish.

The upgrade delivers On Demand streaming, as well as downloadable copies to keep the music and talk going even when you are offline. 

The access is considered a free perk of a SiriusXM subscription, so you will need that. This is what android using Sirius fans have been waiting for. Howard Stern fans too I imagine. Who knows, we may even get a UI update at some point too. That would be cool.
