iControlPad 2 Open Source Games Controller In Development (video)

Smartphone and tablet gamers might remember the original iControlPad we featured here on Geeky Gadgets during it development in 2010-11. Now the company behind the original is looking to develop a second version aptly named the iControlPad 2 which it hope sot make open source.

Being open source the new iControlPad2 is effectively compatible with any device and not just limited to use with smartphones or tablets. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the iControlPad 2 project and see it in action.

The new iControlPad 2 is going to be equipped with a 55 key keyboard, shoulder buttons, twin analogue nubs, high-quality Dpad, together with a battery capable of lasting 14 hours without the need for a recharge.
