ADATA has unveiled a new external hard drive that claims to be the world’s slimmest USB 3.0 external storage device. The drive is called the DashDrive Elite HE720 is only 8.9 mm thick. The drive uses USB 3.0 connectivity for faster data access.

It also has a one-touch button for backing up your digital files. The drive is encased and rugged stainless steel enclosure promising to resist scratches and damage. The drive also has a blue LED light that shows when data is being transferred.
The drive has a storage capacity of 500 GB and is available online right now. The MSRP for the drive is $89.99 including the USB 3.0 cable. This should be an interesting drive for people who are on the road a lot and need a backup solution.
