Halo fans looking forward to the launch of the new Halo 4 series sometime later this year, might be interested in new details that have been revealed by 343 Industries about the upcoming Halo 4 multiplayer game.

The new multiplayer side of Halo 4 will include “Specialisations” which have been created and design to provides gamers with a way to keep the multiplayer content fresh even after months or years of play.

Specialisations within Halo 4 will offer ten levels of unlockable kit, from cosmetic armour to weapons, emblems and skins to custom your character, together with a gameplay-changing modifier to use.

Pioneer is the Specialisation that players will have access to immediately, together with its Fast Track mod that accumulates experience points at a higher rate, enabling you to access high-level goals faster. 343 explains:

“For Fast Track, you only get extra XP for the amount of time you were using it. You can’t just turn it on right at the end of a match and think you’re going to get extra XP for everything you did in a match.”

Specialisations will also influence classes and players will be able to unlock more as they play. Halo 4 will be launching in November 2012, and for more information on the Halo 4 Specialisations jump over to the Gameranx website, where all eight are listed.
