"LittleBits, Snap Together Electronic Components Makes Building Gadgets Easy (video)"

LittleBits which are small electronic modules that can be snapped together using magnets has this week secured venture funding to the tune of $3.65 million to help the LittleBits concept go mainstream.

LittleBits kits start from as little as $89 and no electronic knowledge is required to start building gadget and devices. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action and learn more about LittleBits.
LittleBits consists of tiny circuit-boards with simple, unique functions engineered to snap together with no soldering, no wiring, no programming, and each littleBit has one unique function such as providing light, sound, sensors, or buttons. LittleBits founder and MIT Media Lab alum Ayah Bdeir explains:

“We spend more than seven hours with technological devices every day, yet most of us don’t even know how they work,”- “LittleBits aims to break the boundary between the things we consume and the things we make, and make everyone into an inventor. We want littleBits to be an affordable educational tool that is used in schools everywhere, and our new funding and new relationship with PCH means that we can now expand our team of super stars and reach even more people around the world.”
