"Half Of US Android Tablets In US May Be The Amazon Kindle Fire"

The Amazon Kindle Fire, with its $199 price tag has been an incredibly popular Android tablet, and whilst Amazon has yet to release any recent details on how many of the tablet they have sold, according to one research firm the Kindle fire could make up almost half of the Android tablets in the US.
Kindle Fire
The news comes from comScore, which collects data on which devices access websites, and
the company has done some analysis on Android tablets, and Amazon’s Kindle Fire came out as the most used.
According to the report, in February, out of all the Android tablets that were tracked, 54 percent of these devices were the Amazon Kindle Fire, in second were Samsung’s Galaxy Tab range of tablets with a 15.4 percent share, and in third place was the Motorola Xoom with a 7 percent share.
It will be interesting to find out from Amazon, just how many of their Kindle Fire tablets the company has sold, we are still waiting for the device to launch outside the US, although Amazon has yet to release any details on when it will be available.
