This week NEC has unveiled a new addition to their Android tablet line-up with the launch of the new NEC Medias Tab UL tablet, which sports a  7 inch screen, with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

The NEC Medias Tab UL Android tablet is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor,and is supplied running Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.
NEC have also equipped their new Android tablet with a 3100mAh battery, and a rear facing 8 megapixel camera, and measures just  7.9mm (0.3 inches) thick and weighs just 250g or 0.55 lbs.
The NEC Medias Tab UL tablet has been showcased this week at CeaTec 2012 in Japan, and the technology team over at Engadget has a chance to play with the new tablet first hand.
