Archos GamePad 7 Android Gaming Tablet Features Revealed (video)

Archos first unveiled their new GamePad 7 Android gaming tablet back in August of this year, but this week an new video has been published to YouTube which sheds a little more light on the devices features.

The new Archos GamePad 7 has been designed to run Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and is equipped with a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display.
However it is also equipped with controllers on either side of the screen which can be mapped to a games touchscreen controls, enabling you to choose between either using physical buttons or touchscreen gestures, to control your character.
The Archos GamePad 7 is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, supported by quad-core Mali 400 MP graphics processor, and is equipped with a HDMI port, together with access to the Google Play Store and will be officially Google certified when launched.
Rumours suggest that Archos is hoping to launch the new tablet for around $149, however no launch dates have yet been announced by Archos. But as always we will keep you updated when new information is released.
