Zotac Zbox Nano Updated With AMD Brazos 2.0 APU | Techdigg.info
Zotac has this week announced a new update to their Zbox Nano which is now equipped with a dual-core 1.7 GHz AMD Brazos 2.0 E2-1800 APU.

The new update also comes with AMD Radeon HD 7340 graphics supporting DirectX 11 gaming, together with high definition video playback. The Zbox Nano AD12 is available in two variations the standard vanilla AD12 and extra beefy AD12 Plus.

The barebones system comes without RAM or HDD. but the Zbox Nano AD12 Plus comes with 2GB of DDR3 memory, and a 320 GB 5400RPM HDD.

 “The Brazos 2.0 platform significantly improves performance-per-wattage, incorporates native USB 3.0, native SD reader and SATA 6 GB/s support, while simultaneously reducing idle power usage. The Zbox Nano AD12 delivers more performance and provides additional connectivity while maintaining the same compact footprint.”

 Other features of the new Zbox Nano system include 7-in-1 card reader (SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC/MS/MS Pro/xD), 2 x USB 3.0 ports on the back, 2 x USB 2.0 ports on the front, 2 x USB 2.0 ports on the back, 1 x Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0 support, 1 x eSATA port DisplayPort and HDMI video output.

 Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Zotac, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
