"Google Rolls Out Gmail Translation To The Masses"


Google has today started rolling out a new Gmail translation feature, which has been designed to translate any email into your preferred language. Google has been playing with transition services within in Gmail accounts since back in 2009. But after extensive testing Google now thinks the service is ready for the masses. During its time in the testing Labs the features has proved to be one of the most popular.

“If all parties are using Gmail, you can have entire conversations in multiple languages
with each participant reading the messages in whatever language is most comfortable for them.”
Google has already started automatically started adding the new feature to user accounts and will have completed the roll out over the coming days. So don’t worry too much if you can yet see the feature, it will drop in to your account shortly. Also is you feel the Gmail translation service is something you will never need to use. The service can be disabled once it arrives if preferred.
