"Asus Says Padfone Delayed Because Of Snapdragon S4 Shortage"


Asus were expected to launch their new Padfone back in April, we recently heard it had been delayed and that it was expected to launch some time in May, and now Asus has said that the delay is due to shortages of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon S4 processor.

Asus announced the news on their Asus Indonesia Twitter account, and you can see the translated version of the tweet below, which confirms the delay.

We don’t as yet have any details on when they will launch the new Asus Padfone, as soon as we get some confirmation on when the device will be available we will let you guys know.
