Gaming: 'Amazing Spider-Man' real Rhino trailer released




SUPER-strong muscleman Rhino will upersbe appearing in this year's Amazing Spider-Man video game, though it'll be as Spidey's enemy rather than his friend if the latest trailer is any indication.


Rhino's appearance and attributes, though based on a comic book legacy, have been given a new slant in the upcoming
June release.


Rather than the criminally reformed, super-suit endowed Spider-Man ally that Rhino had become in a recent storyline, the
game's monstrous villain is now part man, part animal, with origins not too dissimilar from the webslinger himself.


A previous trailer for the game had been issued with Rhino's name attached, but instead featured a giant, mechanical arachnid foe facing off against Marvel Comics' hero.


Amazing Spider-Man is due for release in the US on Nintendo 3DS, DS and Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 26, not long before the Marc Webb-directed Spider-Man film debuts on July 3.


DC Comics hit back with Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes releasing there or thereabouts; Sega's Aliens: Colonial Marines follows June's Prometheus, Ridley Scott's one-time Alien prequel.
