The PlayStation 3 was once the new kid on the block, but now it is yielding to the new and more powerful PS4. The PlayStation 3 still has plenty of life left in it though and there are many games expected to be released in the coming year for the PS3. If you plan on sticking with your PlayStation 3 for a little while longer, you may be interested in a new DualShock 3 controller for your console.

Sony has announced a brand- new PlayStation 3 controller that sports a neat looking transparent shell. The limited edition PlayStation 3 controller will only be made available in Japan right now, and we don’t know if or when it will show up elsewhere. It is being called a “skeleton style” controller for obvious reasons. I think it looks pretty neat.
The transparent DualShock 3 controller isn’t entirely new to Sony. They have released one in the past, but this is the first time the company has released one with the rumble features. This transparent limited edition DualShock 3 controller will go on sale in Japan starting December 19 for 5,500 yen. That is about $56. It should be a neat looking controller for you if you enjoy transparency while playing your games.
