Public Broadcasting Service available on the Xbox 360

Public Broadcasting Service available on the Xbox 360

America’s Public Broadcasting Service is now available on the Xbox 360, where you can now watch PBS content whenever you like. Like most streaming video applications on the Xbox 360, you’ll need an Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to watch PBS content.

The PBS app includes new and previously released shows. Shows like NOVA, American Experience, Secrets of the Dead, Austin City Limits and everyone’s favorite Downton Abbey. You will have full-length episodes of PBS shows, plus you can also watch clips from the channel’s popular shows and web-original video from PBS Digital Studios. What? No Sesame Street?

That’s one I was really hoping to catch up on. There is no better crime drama featuring puppets. Just joking of course. If you have kids, don’t worry. I’m sure they are offering this one as well. However, they don’t mention this one by name. This is great news for those of us who love PBS.
