Nvidia Geforce built-in video encoder on every GTX graphics chip

A new update for the Nvidia Geforce Experience has rolled out with it new support for in-game recording and also streaming built right in to the software that supports the built-in video encoder on every GTX graphics chip.

The new features are now available to games with systems equipped with graphics cards featuring a GTX graphics chip and can take advantage of the new update to remove some of the load from their CPU to the graphics chip whilst recording or streaming game footage. The GeForce Experience app has been created by Nvidia to optimise your PC in two key ways, by both notifying you of new NVIDIA drivers as well as optimising your graphics settings in your games based on your hardware configuration and setup.

“The Nvidia GeForce Experience performs extensive game testing for various combinations of GPUs, CPUs, and monitor resolutions and stores this information in the NVIDIA cloud. GeForce Experience connects to the NVIDIA Cloud and downloads optimised game settings tailored specifically to your PC.”

“GeForce Experience does not collect any personally identifiable information. The application collects data needed to recommend the correct driver update and optimal settings including hardware configuration, operating system, language, installed games, game settings, game usage, game performance, and current driver version. You can disable data collection in GeForce Experience in the preferences tab, but without information about your PC, GeForce Experience will not be able to optimise your games.”
