Apple Wants To Sell More iPhones From Their Retail Stores

Apple is looking to increase sales of their iPhones from their retail stores. According to a recent report, 80 percent of all iPhone sales are from third parties, which would be mobile carriers and other retailers.

Apple currently repairs around 50 percent of all iPhones in store, which is high compared to the 20 percent of iPhones that are sold through their stores.
Apple’s CEO Tim Cook is looking to make a significant increase in sales of the iPhone from Apple’s retail stores. This will apparently be done by incentives and promotions.
Apple sees the iPhone as a gateway for other devices, like the iPad and iMac, and is hoping that by increasing sales of the iPhone in their retail stores, they will also be able to increase sales of other devices.
