Bethesda Reveals New Skyrim Content for PS3 And PC “Close” To Release

Bethesda has today Tweeted news that new Skyrim content is close to release for PS3 consoles and PC system stating “we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC.”

After announcing that an update for their Creation Kit which is now compatible with 1.8 is now available to download vis Valve’s Steam gaming network.
I am sure PS3 gamers are amazed at the announcement as it had seemed that Bethesda had all but dismissed trying to roll out updates for PS3 consoles after experiencing problems with the PS3 Skyrim version since its launch on Sony’s console. Even with assistance from Sony Bethesda acknowledged earlier in the year that some content would not be released on to the PS3.
“Skyrim’s first DLC add-on, Dawnguard, is yet to launch on PS3 over four months after it released on Xbox 360. Hearthfire, the mini-add-on, is absent, too. The Dragonbornexpansion was announced for release on Xbox 360 on 4th December without mention of PC or PS3.” Eurogamer explains
Lets hope the new content for PS3 arrives shortly. Bethesda followed up on their earlier Tweet saying:
“Thanks to all our fans. We think you’ll love the new stuff. We know it takes us time and thanks for all your support and patience!”
