Tumblr releases Photoset app for iOS


There are already a few collage and montage photo apps available for the iPhone and iPad, but now it is Tumblr’s turn with it’s new app Photoset.
Basically you select a group of photos and arrange them in a basic preferred layout, then you can add a caption, upload to Photoset, and share the link to the uploaded image or share it on Twitter. Pretty basic stuff.

You do not need a Tumblr account to use the app and Photoset will keep the link of your uploaded montages private until you share them with friends. One big bonus for users is the simplicity of the interface. There’s no mention about sharing on Facebook.
