Awesome iControlPad 2 Open Source Touchscreen Games Controller Launches Into Production (video)

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, which helped the team behind the iControlPad 2games controller raise over $150,000. The new open source iControlPad 2 controller will now be able to make the jump from concept into production.

To recap the iControlPad 2 games controller started its journey on Kickstarter back in early September, and offers gamers a unique open source controller which can be connected to devices by either Bluetooth or a microUSB cable.

One of the unique features of the games controller is that it can be programmed to control almost any application for mobile touchscreen devices due to its support for touchscreen mapping. Check out the video below to learn more about the games controller from its creators, who posted this on Kickstarter after successfully reaching their goal.

“Well as I’m sure you have all seen the KS is a success, and we have waited until it is well past the goal just to be sure before posting this.

We’re now requesting part invoices and arranging the moulding process for the rubber membranes and plastic parts – the battery company will also start production of the cells. Once the KS ends we will post the first production video and you will see us start making this real!
