Microsoft is generous. Just like back in 2010, Microsoft boss Steve Ballmer announced at the company’s annual event that all 90,000 full-time employees will getting its latest hardware. A Surface for Windows RT tablet and Windows Phone 8 phone in late December, and a new touch compatible office computer running Windows 8.

The PCs can be a desktop, laptop, ultrabook or tablet. This is a great way to improve employee morale and it helps to make sure that the employees know all about the new products that they represent and that they tell all of their friends.
It must feel great to be working for Microsoft right about now. Though I’m sure that many would have prefered a raise instead, this is still a great gesture.
