Just ahead of the release of Apple’s new iOS mobile operating system, Evernote has released a new Skitch iPhone and iPod application.

Evernote acquired Skitch just over a year ago, when it had around 300,000 downloads, now Skitch has enjoyed over 10 million downloads, and will be receiving the full Evernote treatment with multi-platform availability and full synchronisation, says Evernote.
On the road to its full integration with Evernote, the company has today launched a new Skitch iPhone and iPod Touch application making it available on the mobile devices for the first time. Watch the video below to see it in action, Evernote explains:
“The new Skitch design embodies the application’s purpose of helping you communicate your ideas quickly and easily. We focused on making things simpler, highlighting exactly the shapes, colors and options you need in order to get things done.
