Today Canon has taken the wraps off the latest addition to its range of Canon EOS full frame sensor DSLR cameras, with the unveiling of the Canon EOS 6D DLSR.
The new Canon EOS 6D is equipped with 20.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 5+ image processor, its also Canon’s smallest, lightest and cheapest full frame Canon EOS camera.


The EOS 6D has been designed and created with advanced amateurs and videographers in mind, and builds on the technology and design of the EOS 5D Mark II camera.

The Canon EOS 6D is equipped with a built-in wireless transmitter and GPS features, together with a 11-point AF array and 63-zone dual-layer iFCL metering sensor, as well as 1080p full high definition video support. Yuichi Ishizuka, executive vice president and general manager, Canon US explains:

“The introduction of this camera completes a well-rounded ecosystem from input through output for Canon, allowing us to provide the right combination of features for every level of photographer. We believe the EOS 6D Digital SLR Camera along with our new PIXMA Pro printers will help unlock the creative vision of so many who aspire to capture and display their artistic abilities,”

The Canon EOS will be arriving in December in two bundles at $2,099 for the body only, and $2,899 for body and a 24-105mm f/4L USM zoom lens.
