Apple Lightning Port Authenticator Chip Installed Inside Official Apple Adapters

Those of you that have already purchased Apple’s iPhone 5 smartphone, pre-ordered or are thinking about purchasing one. Maybe looking to purchase a handful of cheaper third party Apple Lightning port adapters to make your new iPhone 5 compatible with your older 30 pins docks and cables.

If you are you might be interested to learn that an authenticator chip has been discovered within Apple’s Lightning port adapter, that makes the Lightning connection function correctly.

Any cheap third party adapters you might be thinking of purchasing without this chip may not function at all. So it might be best to ask and make sure they are fitted with a similar chip if thats at all possible.

If companies are advertising their products with a chip installed I’m sure it won’t be long before Apple’s lawyers are knocking unless they are certified partners able to include the Lightning authenticator chip.
