We know Microsoft are working on their next generation Xbox console, which is rumored to be called the Xbox 720, and the device is expected to be launched some time in 2013 or 2014.

Now according to a recent Microsoft job listing, it looks like the new Xbox could possibly launch within the next 18 months, have a look at the advert below which has now been removed from Microsoft’s website.

“Over the next eighteen months Microsoft will release new versions of all of our most significant products including Windows (Client, Server, Phone and Azure), Office and Xbox,”
Microsoft are obviously wanting to keep it as quite a possible when they intend to launch the new Xbox 720 as it could have an impact on the sales of the existing Xbox 360 console.
