Samsung Galaxy Note II Officially Announced

As expected Samsung has unveiled their new Samsung Galaxy Note II at the IFA consumer electronics trade show this week. Revealing that it does have a larger 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED touch screen as rumoured, providing a resolution of 1,280 x 720 and a 16:9 screen ratio, and is powered by a 1.6GHz Quad-Core processor.

Samsung also announced that their new Samsung Galaxy Note II will be shipping with Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system installed, and will come equipped with a Samsung’s S Pen stylus. JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics.

The S Pen Stylus included with the Samsung Galaxy Note II is longer, thicker and has been ergonomically designed for the perfect grip, says Samsung. Other features include HSPA Plus or 4G LTE connectivity and will be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage capacities with a micro SD memory slot for expandability when required.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II is also fitted with an 8 megapixel camera on the rear and 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera with HD video recording functionality.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available in Marble White or Titanium Gray and will be launching in October, no price has yet been announced by Samsung.
