RIM BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE Tablet Launches In Canada 9th Of August | Techdigg.info

RIM would be launching their new BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE tablet before the end of July, and now RIM has just announced that the device will be launched in Canada on the 9th of August.

The BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE will be available in Canada from next Thursday from mobile carriers Bell, Rogers and Telus, the device comes with 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, plus 4G LTE.

“We’re excited to bring customers the first BlackBerry PlayBook tablet with support for 4G LTE networks,” said David J. Smith, Executive Vice President, Mobile Computing at Research In Motion. “The new 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook offers a broad range of premium features, including a stunning 7 inch display, front and rear facing HD video cameras, HDMI out and stereo speakers, and it also offers premium performance on high speed cellular networks, helping customers to be more productive than ever and to make the most of their time on the go.”
Other specifications include a dual core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a front facing 3 megapixel camera, you can find full details here.
