"Bump Now Transfers From Smartphones To Computers"

Bump the handy smartphone application that allows you to transfer data between two devices by simply bumping them together. Has now announced a new features that will soon enable you to transfer data from your smartphone to a computer by taping your device onto the spacebar of the computer.

The update will be rolling out to both Android and iPhone devices, but to bump you will require that the Bump web interface is loaded. Images are then uploaded to the Bump website and not to your computers hard drive, allowing you to easily share them on social networks. The Bump interface does however allow you to easily drag-and-drop them onto your computer drive.

Bump doesn’t have any limit to the amount of images you can store on their site. Dave Lieb, co-founder and CEO of Bump explained to tech site Mashable that users

“One of the comments we always hear is ‘I wish my computer worked just as well. I wish there was Bump on my computer’ so we decided to build that.”-”They don’t want to deal with these cloud services and having accounts and all that.”
