"Sony Xperia Handsets To Get Android 4.0 From Mid April"

Sony has released some more information on when it will release Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for its range of Xperia smartphones, and the first Android 4.0 updates will start to roll out in mid April.

Some of the first devices to get Android 4.0 ICS include the Xperia Arc S, Xperia Ray and the Xperia Neo V with other devices being updated by the end of May and the start of June.

The first Xperia models to receive the upgrade will be Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray. For these first models, the rollout will start mid-April and continue over 4-6 weeks.

Following on, Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman will receive their scoop starting from the end of May/early June.*

As soon as we get an exact date for the Android 4.0 updates for various Sony Xperia and Sony Ericsson Xperia devices we will let you guys know.
