"The Cloud To Offer Free WiFi To London Overground Stations"


Earlier this month we heard that Virgin Media would be offering free WiFi on the London Underground this summer for the 2012 Olympics, and now another provider, The Cloud has announced that they will also offer free WiFi to London’s overground stations.
London TrainThe service will launch this summer in time for the Olympics, and commuters will get up to one hour of free WiFi when they are at a station, after this time they can purchase more
time if they need.
Steve Murphy, managing director of London Overground Rail Operations Limited said: “Access to the internet is no longer limited solely to home or to the workplace, and people’s expectation is to be able to work and communicate effectively and seamlessly while they’re on the move.
The service will be available at a total of 56 overground stations in London throughout the Olympics this summer.
